summer reading #4
I chose this book out of all of the other books because I have been watching and reading john greens videos and books, and also because, I like non fiction with a little touch of romance some times. Nothing can compare to a book that contains love and romance , and a happy never ending couple. I really like this book because it just pin points how the events occurred. I highly recommend this book if you are in middle school or higher. I would also recommend this to a diligent reader , or somebody that just likes to read love and romance novels. Another reason I like this book is because I can picture the novel in my head while reading it. I would recommend this to teachers to hand out to their students to read, because it has a lot of emotions going on at the same time happy , and sad. This leads up to my conclusion of why I chose this book.

This book has so many things to learn about friendship, and that friendship is the evolution to the future because at al at the end of the day here on earth everyone will become friends. If we do not have friends then there would be no point in living like how Alaska had felt like so I strongly agree to come get this book and past it on to generations and on to generations also.

Chip "the colonel"Martin, chip was somewhat nerdy and has been at culver creek for a really long time. Chip is Pudges roommate and he gave miles the nickname "pudge"also he has an possible crush on Alaska. Chip is somewhat very social and is very angry at the warriors because they are very spoiled and bratty rich kids.
Takumi Harihoto,Takumi is an rapper and is the jokester of the group,Takumi had secrets that he had told pudge about how takumi was there when Alaska had died and that explained that it was his fault that she died because he could of stopped her from killing her self.
Alaska Young, Alaska was a beautifuland rebellious girl who soon met and fell into love pudge,Takumi and colonel most likely have an crush on Alaska.in the end Alaska dies.
Lara Buterskaya, lara is an exchange student an later on becomes pudges girlfriend. lara is nice and friendly to everyone of her peers and family, lara has an ability despite her background to assimilate or do anything fro the group, she transitions nicely.
The Eagle, eagle is the dean of culver creek , he got the name Eagle because he watches over everything. Eagle created the tri fecta rule , which means you need to follow the rules to stay in culver creek. Eagle always has to put up with students pranks and immaturity.
MS. Martin, martin is the colonels mom and she works at Waffle House and later on in the book she invites pudge and Alaska to come to their Thanksgiving Dinner.
Setting
Everything important for the setting takes place on Culver Creek Campus. Culver Creek Boarding School is located in Alabama. The theme began off away from campus then the theme starts on campus. Pudge meets some nice friendly students while he was on campus . The image of the campus is a clean and sanitized atmosphere where Miles finds himself to succeed in finding a possibility of the "great perhaps". Culver Creek has No Parents allowed policy which gives the students the power to focus strictly on themselves and to be independent. The dorm settings are hot and have no central air and , they also come with a shower and minimal room to maneuver.
Conflict
the colonel and the warriors are having constant conflict between each other and they are constantly getting revenge on each other. The colonel dislikes the warriors because they act like they are to good for them. I believe that most of the conflict is internal because it happens between the colonel and the warriors. I think that both the colonel and the warriors should all just get along because they all live under the same circumstances.

the blind side
this is a book and it explains how an all time MVP NFL football player Michael ore it explained how an poor student started to rise from a homeless kid into a multi millionaire just because of the hearts of an millionaire family.this shows people actually cares about people and how also somebody can actually s be an actual someone for once instead of feeling all down and lonely this also shows passions people have for others and actually care.michael ore was homeless he was treated like crap and it shows what he went through i personally would of helped him if i could i would try to help any homeless kid and just try to give them a chance like you had an chance an you succeeded yours then you should try to give someone else a chance like michael ore had gotten from a foster parent that was a millionaire and actually had an heart to actually help that is what i would of done to that is why "education is the most powerful weapon to change and enhance the world"(nelson Mandela) that is why i believe that anyone in the world has an chance to thrive and be proud about there self.
voice.
voice
It shows that the authors personality or has character in his or hers voice it shows emotional expression and it shows how they would really tell a story.it also shows their passionate voice of an author that is why they use it just to gain the readers attention or thought.the other reason we use voices to explain or use an expression to show feeling or just an emotion, voice people use it all over the world it helps with any type of language and it shows sadness emotions and madness.this might just be the reason why we express are feelings is to really show how they actually feel or have trust in someone
black hawk down
black hawk down this is an good created book that basically follows the whole line of the story of black hawk down which was an historical event that the us had called the UN for help because they were pinned down trying to save and injured pilot that had got shot down by an rpg or rocket propelled grenade this shows that the UN or united nations this shows they are here for peace keeping they are trying to stop all wars from happening as possible they will also help an country that is in distress tat is what the un is for so then the UN came in at Mogadishu and had proceeded to take heavy resistances from Somalian soldiers the reason the us had responded to the Somalian soldiers was because they're was some secret evidence that there had been genocide had been going on so that is why the us had interacted to the Somalians in the first place.
mbc newspaper reference about Madeira police explorers

the program starts with a based training for youth from 14 to 21 so this shows that you have an official job once you come back from the police academy it is a good way to start of your career of you like law enforcement. this gives basically the basic authority like an police officer. The life of an officer is a game of inches you make a move 1 inch to late or 1 inch to early you wont make it but when all hell breaks loose we still hold up as a team if we don't we will die as an individual they fight for their freedom and peace and prosperity.this shows we will fight until the end and nothing will get in our way we will fight to keep the peace our nation.we will fight for our life liberty and pursuit of happiness.there are only a couple ways to survive but the word routine is an officer worst night mare you never think anything is routine, you always act as if it is your last day on the job meaning you could be killed and you work on high alert of anything that might throw you to the curve, that makes it come to push comes to shove at the end of the day it is between winning and losing also winning and dieing. Now if you want to live and serve to protect then "you will need a guy that will go that inch with that makes the fucking difference between winning and dieing"this shows to live you have to have compassion and trust of your partner to become your life saving support i have an quote that says and represents police.""Honor never grows old, and honor rejoices the heart of age. It does so because honor is, finally, about defending those noble and worthy things that deserve defending, even if it comes at a high cost. In our time, that may mean social disapproval, public scorn, hardship, persecution, or as always, even death itself. The question remains: What is worth defending? What is worth dying for? What is worth living for?"( William J. Bennett,)these are the questions we have to ask our self every day is it worth it but we have to protect and serve the people that most really need us.This quote tells you what the presence of police is kind of for"the sheep do not like the dog around.he looks to much like the wolf.he reminds them that danger lurks out there, just beyond the relative safety of the fence.the wolf also hates the dog.he knows that it is the dog that stands between him and his prey.it is because of the dog that he is lean.the dog is the reason the wolf is forced to stalk the darkness.the dog knows these facts undeterred,he stands watch, ever ready to do battle.despite that he is an unwelcome guest in their mists, the dog is ready at an moments notice,to give his unwelcome guest in their mists, the dog is ready.at an moments notice to give his life in defense of his flock.it is simply who he is
:police"
this shows at the end and the beginning of the day that you have to risk your lives to save others. if i was in charge i would tell my fellow officers to protect our freedom and protect our rights and protect our central rights of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness

voting age
vote at 18 or at 16 ?
this article basically tells how this teenager went to city council and asked if people under 18 could vote if they are 16 instead so this shows that the younger ages want to vote on a critical pov or point of view which shows that we have interest in voting for presidents and all the acts like for taxes for police and stuff like that.i say that it is the best way to vote is early in your teenage life will help you to get your self experienced and wanting to get involved whether you want to get involved in the government and stuff like that. i personally believe that is should be earlier to get experience and be able to get involved to make it actually seem like they want to change and prosper the country to better it self and hopefully voting at 17 instead of 18 might show to people that they actually care about the government just like how they want to get involved and how it also may influence them to better their lives and others by voting and possibly being a candidate for mayor senator or etc.this leads to my conclusion it is better to start early than late.

Fahrenheit 451
this book is like a scientific book it represents a firemen that burn books because they want the society to be equal. so then it leads how am fireman named montag then finally realizes what he was really burning was a mans hard work. he then starts reading them and stopped working at the fire department. then that is when montag stars to come up with a plan with faber.the plan was to sneak and put books in every firemen houses so they could get in trouble for having them.but i think that it is risky because montag could be caught by the captain or by the hound which will kill someone that reads books and will also try to overthrow an government.which could lead to being montags consequence if he gets caught doing so. so this leads up to why a perfect society is strict and some what not perfect.

the article state that the government of south Africa wanted to pose a white supremacist country which nelson Mandela did not believe in . he joined the anc which is African national congress which was suppose to go against the south African government. so this then lead to nelson Mandela getting arrested for treason and sentenced to life and was sent to the island .then he finally got out to then become a first president because he showed great leader ship and outstanding speeches, which lead to the freedom of the British government. this actually show he actually put non violence thoughts to improve and get rid of the British influence that is why would do the same if i had to because i care about nonviolence movemnets and how they lead to a peaceful decision of leaving.
